Cancel a pending request

Backlinker Connection requests

Cancel a request you sent if you change your mind or want to free a pending request slot.

Requests you send stay Pending until the other store answers. To withdraw one, open Network, go to Connection requests → Sent and click Cancel. You see “Request cancelled.” and the status becomes Cancelled.

Why cancel

  • You sent the invitation by mistake or the store no longer fits your niche.
  • You reached the limit of requests waiting for a reply and want to invite a better match.

Only the store that sent a request can cancel it. Cancelling does not give back the monthly network request that was used to send it; that count resets at the start of each calendar month.
