Backlinker Troubleshooting

A post can stay unpublished because of the host's blog, its session or a monthly limit. Here is how to tell.

If a guest post stays in Draft, Submitted or Approved, or shows Publish failed, check these causes:

  • Monthly limit — the guest store reached its published posts limit, or the host its auto-publish limit. Check Usage This Month on Plans.
  • No blog — the host store has no blog: “No Shopify blog found to publish this post.” The host creates one under Online Store → Blog posts.
  • Session — automatic publishing uses the host's store session. If the host has not opened Backlinker for a while, opening the app fixes it.

Then

The guest can click Submit to host on a Draft. The host can click Approve & publish or Retry approve & publish.
