If New Agent says Grow your network before creating an agent, you need more accepted connections.

New Agent shows the warning “Grow your network before creating an agent” when you have fewer accepted connections than required, currently 5. The warning adds: “Your store does not have enough active connections yet to create an agent.”

How to fix it

  1. Open the Network page and click Invite on several suggested stores.
  2. Accept any incoming requests in the Connection requests card.
  3. In the Network & matching section of Settings, turn on the option to automatically send connection requests to matching stores.
  4. If you see few suggestions, widen your Get links filters, such as topic fit, categories or the host DA range.

Pending requests do not count; only Connected partners do.
