Why store domains are partly hidden

Backlinker Network & partners

Suggested store domains are masked, for example ab*****c.com, to protect privacy until stores are connected.

On suggested store cards, domains are partly hidden, for example ab*****c.com. You still see the store name, Moz Domain Authority, top country and vertical, which is enough to decide whether the store is a good fit.

Why we do this

Network matching is based on verified profiles, not on browsing competitors' domains. Masking protects every merchant in the network from unwanted outreach and scraping.

When you see the full domain

Once a connection is accepted, the partner appears in Accepted partners with its domain and an Open store action. You can also choose how much of your own store is shown with Store identity visible to potential matches in the Network & matching settings.
