Matching compares your preferences with each store's settings and verified profile, in both directions.
A store appears in your suggestions only when both sides agree. Backlinker checks:
- Participation — the seeker has link seeking on and the host has hosting on.
- Authority — the host's Moz Domain Authority fits the seeker's DA range and Moz floor.
- Audience — preferred categories, shipping regions, host language and search visibility band.
- Topics — the seeker's topic fit against the host's accepted topics, excluded categories and competitor policy.
- Quality and links — minimum host quality, and links per article against the host's outbound link cap.
Profiles come from your SEO report (Moz, Search Console and an AI analysis of your store), so they cannot be faked. If you get few suggestions, widen one or two filters in Settings.
