Competing stores and excluded categories

Backlinker Matching preferences

As a host, keep competitors and unwanted topics off your blog with Competing stores and Excluded categories.

Two Host posts settings protect your blog from posts you would never want to publish.

Competing stores

  • Reject obvious direct competitors — the default. Stores in the same primary vertical as yours are not matched with you as guest authors.
  • Allow if they do not sell the same products.
  • Do not auto-match — I will decide case by case.

Excluded categories (never host)

Search and add categories you never want as guest topics. Stores whose verified category is excluded are not matched with you. No selection means nothing is excluded.

Both settings apply to suggestions and to the choice of host when an agent runs, so they also protect you from automatic publishing of unwanted posts.
