Connect Google Search Console

Backlinker Dashboard & SEO report

Link your Google account so Backlinker can read your search queries and clicks for the SEO report and topic ideas.

Click Connect Google Search Console on Home (or Connect Search Console in the setup guide) and sign in with the Google account that manages your store's Search Console property. This connects your Google account, not another Shopify app.

How the data is used

  • Clicks, impressions, average CTR and average position appear in your SEO report.
  • Your top queries are merged with your keywords when an agent uses the Feature Home Page topic source.
  • Your search visibility band becomes part of your network profile.

If it fails

If your store's primary domain does not match any property in that Google account, add and verify the domain in Search Console, then connect again.
