The Get started with Backlinker guide on Home lists five steps and checks each one off automatically as you complete it.
The Get started with Backlinker card on Home shows your progress, for example “2 of 5 steps complete”. Each step opens the right page:
- Configure blog defaults — save your Settings (post language, shop name, AI defaults).
- Connect Google Search Console — link your Google account to import search data.
- Run your SEO report — scan your store for Moz and Search Console metrics.
- Join the backlink network — send or accept a connection request on Network.
- Create your first blog agent — use New Agent once you have enough accepted connections.
Steps are checked from your real data, not by clicking. You can dismiss the guide anytime; it reappears if you reinstall the app.
